DB Cooper Is a dialogue director and actor, recently VO Supervisor for ZeniMax Online Studios, casting and directing dialogue for 13 projects for The Elder Scrolls Online. You’ve heard DB in Bioshock 2, Shadowverse, DC Universe Online, Hearthstone, and Job Simulator; and in the Monster Train games she has voiced 132 creatures in the Legions of Heaven and Hell. She was producer/director for summer stock theater-in-a-barn for 9 years, a classic rock radio deejay for 6, and a commercial announcer for CBS Radio for 13 years. DB is a vocal archetype, creature sound, and video game combat consultant, with students learning how to take damage, howl in agony, and die since 2007.

We need to craft performances that stand out, so we’re heard above the roar of actors “playing it safe”.

Voice actors are not all created equal when it comes to performing brilliant exertion sounds. Barks and character sets can be the most trying parts of a video game voice over session. In this interactive program, attendees will learn and practice the bio-mechanics of producing typically necessary exertion sounds, and preventing vocal burn-out while taking damage, howling in agony, and dying.
